Using Klook to book amazing travel experiences
Using Klook to book amazing travel experiences (and save £££ at the same time!)
Never heard of Klook? Or have you heard about them but not using them yet? Then you should. It’s been a few years since they formed the business (the owners of Klook that is) and now it’s really becoming a big player in selling tours, train tickets in certain countries and sim cards. A lot of travelers I know have started to use the Klook to find things to do whilst in the area and book tickets and experiences through them. I found them to be really handy when I was in Asia and this is why I think you should be booking through Klook.
Thinking of doing the Peak Tram journey in Hong Kong, a bike tour across San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge or doing some tours in Paris, Klook is the place to book them. They have a lot of activities offered at each destination, entrance tickets and services at a lower price than buying there while you are at the destination. The best thing about the company is that they work directly with the owners to cut out the middleman and you can book everything in one place, such as tours, transportation, local SIM cards and so forth.
My guide to using Klook
Ok, when I found Klook, they were mostly dealing with Asia attractions but now there are a lot more options for the United States and Europe. Australia is also becoming increasingly popular. The best way to find the deals or experiences is by searching by destination on the home page. They can be found and book on the app or via their desktop site.
After finding the best experience or tickets and booking them, users will see an ‘Instant Confirmation’ symbol next to the activity name. This will appear and hopefully within minutes after completing the payment process, the booking voucher will appear in the Klook app or via an email. A lot of tickets booked through Klook are confirmed very quickly. On the booking there is either a bar code or a QR which you will need to enter the attraction (Klook is also very handy as you don’t need to queue up for tickets at the attraction on the day!). If there is a problem and Klook can’t confirm the tours etc or if your selected date is not available, then Klook team will either give you a refund or try to reschedule.
The big bonus for users who have brought tours/tickets via Klook and used them, then leave a REVIEW! This is what I like, Klook tries to get users who have brought through them to leave a review. Add a few photos and users get bonus credits. Then users can use these credits towards their next booking via Klook. It’s fantastic!
One thing I am asked quite often if Klook is a real company and not a scam! Guys, it sure is the bees-knees! When booking through them, the purchases are safe & are the real deal. Just one thing to note, Klook works with third-party tour companies to operate the tours, so they DO NOT operate them personally. Like I said, I have had no problems booking through Klook but if you are not quite sure and have any questions (or problems…hopefully none), then reach them via their help page on the app or desktop.
Now I think I got your eyes wide opened or ears burning by now. Ok, I really hope I have found my readers a fantastic way of booking tickets and finding great deals by using Klook. Read those reviews but also leave them (with photos) to gain more credits which go towards the next booking. Download the app and sign up today to get the £3 discount!
